Joy Behar tells Sara Haines to "shut up" on 'The View' for pointing out she's on her phone "a lot"

Where to Stream: The View Powered by Reelgood It looks like Joy Behar did not appreciate having Sara Haines reveal to viewers that she regularly “gets a lot of crap” for using her phone on The View . The longtime co-hosts shared a hilarious moment together during a discussion about social media usage after Meta and YouTube were found liable for building addictive social media platforms in a landmark case. Haines explained to Behar that there is these platforms are carefully built to capture, and retain, users’ attention. “It’s programmed to get you addicted,” she explained to Behar. “And the result is, we know that adults, we all fall victim to it, still.” Haines then took a shot at Behar, who is often seen with her cell phone in hand on the show. “I mean, JoymJoy, no joke, you get a lot of crap here at the table,” she said. “Like, ‘Put your phone down, stop looking at your phone.'” “Oh, shut up!” Behar fired back. Their co-hosts and the audience burst into laughter at the unexpected outburst. Sunny Hostin, who has worked with Behar for years, agreed. “Joy loves her phone,” she said. Abby Huntsman then chimed in. “Joy, do you go down rabbit holes a lot?” she inquired, which Haines confirmed. It looks like Behar was in a fiery mood during Friday’s (March 27) broadcast. At another point in the segment, she accused Huntsman of getting kicked out of high school. Huntsman revealed on the show that she attended four high schools when she was a teenager. “Homeschools, public schools, you name it,” she said. “What? Did you get kicked out of every school?” Behar asked. “No, I moved every year!” Huntsman responded, before she jokingly added, “You didn’t know that about me?
